Ive had such a great experience working with Phil. I approached him 6 months ago to coach me through marathon training and I completed the distance last week with a new found love for running and a desire to do it again! He helped me trust the process and realise that marathon training is more than pounding out the miles. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I worked with Phil for over a year, with a goal of developing strength and flexibility to improve my running and to try to prevent the injuries Id had in the past. Phil listened to me and changed things based on any specific niggles or aims throughout, and my old ankle injury which I always blamed for many things, is genuinely not even a thing anymore. My body is so much stronger and able to manage running and I feel more confident in its ability to do what I want it to. I genuinely enjoyed working with Phil - he is always encouraging and supportive, without any negativity., and he respects the goals and individual stories of each of his clients.

Phil is extremely professional, knowledgeable and extremely excellent at what he does. I went to Phil because my upper body was extremely tense and it was showing in my posing I do, after leaving I had never felt so relaxed and my entire upper body felt so much better [also helped improve with my gym progress and posing progress] - Phil went above and beyond to show me stretches and advise me on what to do to help the upper body. I will defiantly be returning and despite never having a massage before - I know this will defiantly be a regular now. An amazing professional, I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you so much.

I contacted West View fitness for an assessment and sports massage on my lower back. Very quick response, all paperwork completed online which saves time at appointment. After seeing which stretches I was able to do and ensuring I didn't have any other injuries Phil gave me a sports massage. During this he was continuing to ask if I was in any further discomfort ( which I wasn't). I was at complete ease. Afterwards I was able to do my shoelaces up again ! A great feeling of relief after days of discomfort. I was also advised to visit my osteopath which I have and all is on the mend. Thank you

I've been having weekly Personal Training sessions with Phil at West View Fitness for the last 6 months and have been greatly impressed. Before your first session Phil gets you to complete various forms detailing your medical, fitness goals, current diet, exercises you like/dislike. This together with with a full assesment of your strength, endurance and flexibility in your first session allows him to produce a comprehensive individual training program for you. This is then used a baseline to measure against as you progress. In each session Phil demonstrates each exercise and advises you as you carry it out. He has a very calm and encouraging approach that puts you at ease and is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of fitness. As I have progressed Phil has listened and adjusted my program to meet my new aims and goals. I'm glad I chose Phil and West View Fitness as my overall flexibility and strength has greatly improved, which is reflecting in my running.
