Staff, site and booking system falls a long way behind most of the county's other recycling centres. Maybe the staff could go to another site for some training?

Lovely friendly man at the entrance this afternoon, answering our question with a joke which made us all smile. My daughter was spoken to at the small appliances section by another staff member who was friendly and helpful. Quick and easy trip to the dump as usual. Much prefer the booking system, than the just turn up and wait.

Most rude and obnoxious staff Ive ever seen. I wonder how they would get on if they actually had a stressful job.

Very kind man called Robert unloaded some heavy worktops for me. Very much appreciated as I had hurt my back. He would not even accept a drink!!

The booking system is annoying to say the least but to be fair, it's not been anything other than annoyance. It's a rubbish site and as such it does its job, the two issues I have with the place are firstly, the amount of space to get around is limited, not helped with large vehicles mixed in with regular home owners, given that this is now run by a booking system it might be helpful to separate commercial and domestic users. The second issue is around the profiteering of the council. The site is publicly funded, I have no doubt they sell the rubbish where they can making additional monies but to charge us again to dispose of some items which will be resold and repurposed is not acceptable, all this is doing is encouraging people to flytip. Not their fault, they are doing as asked but the council is pulling the leavers and that needs to change.
