St Elizabeth Hospice Stowmarket Charity Shop

Very clean, bright store. Almost always has a great selection of stuff, impressive book collection. The staff are nice and helpful . It's a nice shop to visit regularly, and definitely the best charity shop in town, and should be the bench mark for all charity shops. The manageress hannah , is one of the nicest most helpful people you will ever meet.

Not a great experience. I arrived at the door with a heavy bag of clothes to donate. I was told by the assistant to follow the one-way system round the shop. She watched me walk all the way round carrying the heavy bag then told me they weren't accepting donations at the moment. Why couldn't she have told me this at the door before I did that? When they are accepting donations again, I won't be giving to them.

Do not buy or donate. From here. They need to get new people and vet them. Who looked at my sofar. I got it from there two years ago. It's in the some condition the day I got it. They come in to my home and say it's not clean. I don't give things away Wait are dirty. I done furniture delivery years ago for a charity so I no Waits is clean. how deare they say that. Keep away. .
