Really pleased with the attentiveness and support offered for first time buyers at this branch. Mortgage advice was also top notch and really cleared up a lot of uncertainties. In the end I found a house under a different estate agent so did not purchase one directly through Abbotts. However, the advice and service we received early on was invaluable. We will definitely keep this firm in mind if we ever need them in future. Branch Manager couldn't have been more welcoming :)

I dealt with Abbotts between March and August,2022, selling my house in Stowmarket and purchasing my present home in Gretna, Dumfriesshire, Scotland. Miss Macrow valued my house and, from the outset, I found her to be professional, knowledgeable and informative, and very pleasant in her approach. Having secured the option on my Gretna house I was keen to get the deal done, was impatient to move, and increasingly so when I felt it was taking a long time to complete. As a result, I was a very regular visitor to Abbotts and on every visit, Miss Macrow would calmly answer all my queries, make telephone calls if necessary explain everything and I would leave the office feeling relieved and reassured. In the event of her absence I found her two staff members to be polite and helpful on every occasion. Many of the delays in the process were created by persons who were not part of the Abbotts team. Looking back on the whole experience there is nothing at all that I could criticise and would say that Miss Macrows team of that time was a great credit to her and that she herself is a significant asset to Abbotts, Stowmarket.
