Verandah House

Horrible experience. Expensive for what you get and disgusting cleanliness. There was hair in my food and looked like there were pee stains in the bed and covers. No heating during the cold winters and water looked brownish yellow. Staff were so disrespectful and even had to call the police for them taking one of or luggage since we checkout 3 minutes after 12. Tons of random extra charges at the end which I didnt even receive. Not coming back in a jiffy and so shouldnt you!

I stayed with Suzanne and Gianfranco for a night. Never been in this part of the country and being used to nice hotels I didn't know what to expect form a family business far away from London. It was the most enjoyable experience I have ever had. I felt more than the best served customer, better than any of the 5* I stayed in, but I was made to feel being home. Amazing breakfast, amazing company. I would heartily recommend it to everyone as the welcome is beyond the best service. Thank you Suzanne and Gianfranco

It was our first time staying at The Verandah House. We booked two nights and we had the most pleasurable and enjoyable stay. Franco and Suzanne were wonderful hosts. The room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant value for money especially the sausages and the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. .Brilliant experience overall.
