Came here tonight (0130-21/01/22) to buy a drink and a bottle of cider with a couple of friends. We where asked for our ID by the lady on the till. We all gave her our driving licences and me and my friends where refused service because we were "To young to buy alcohol because we weren't 25 years old". She then proceded to tell us it was the company policy to not sell to anyone under the age of 25. I'm 23, my friend was 26 and my 3rd friend who was 21. All where refused service cause some of us where "under 25". The age to buy alcohol in the UK is 18. We where then lectured about how we where wrong to try and buy it as it was illegal to sell to us as we where under age to buy alcohol. She was incredibly rude too. I strongly suggest some further training for your staff and/or policy updates. Will not be coming here again neither will my freinds or colleagues. Very poor standard.
