Amerton Pottery & Paint a Pot Studio

Had a lovely morning with my 10 year old daughter here yesterday. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No rush in choosing what you would like to paint (all items individually priced underneath and include the cost of glazing/firing etc which is done after you leave and you collect at a later date). The website says from 10 but these are for the smallest items. We decorated a plate, mug and coaster and it cost 44. Loads of paint colours to choose from (there is a colour wheel you can choose from) and the staff advise and get them for you. The room is beautifully decorated and had a nice warm heater to keep us toasty. It is only small with three/four tables so it became quite busy once these were all filled and became a little less peaceful as there was a lot of little ones. We were offered hot drinks (tea coffee chocolate etc) on arrival which was a nice touch. We will return but with the items being quite expensive it will have to be for a special treat rather than a regular visit.

I took my niece here recently and it was my first time. We really loved it, the lady was really helpful and great with the kids. There's a large range of pots you can paint and we chose the mermaid which kept her entertained for 90mins! Usually you can pick the fired pot up a week or two later...A lovely family activity. You can also buy some pieces for your home here, I got a great pair of egg cups

Been here to do hand/footprints with both my children. Absolutely fantastic service. The owner does a wonderful job getting the prints and interacts with babies well to make them happy whilst having it done. The finished products look amazing and are ready to collect quickly. There are a range of products to choose from for pottery for adults and children. Would definitely recommend.
