Excellant service. Patrick repaired a very special bracelet for me. whilst in the cotswolds we popped in to ask advice on a faulty clasp, patrick advised what would be needed, however ir would take a few days to do. We were actually returning home the next day. But patrick said he would post it back t o me. Within a week my bracelet arrived safely, and repaired. Excellant communication and effective repair carried out, within timescale.

I popped in to have a very minor repair done on an engagement ring that had a wobbly stone. Without any prompting, the man who did the repair informed me that the main stone was not a fire opal (it is in fact an orange garnet) the diamonds were paste (they are in fact white sapphires) and that the gold setting wasn't real gold. Only after I questioned him more closely, being in shock, did he test the diamonds and had to very grudging admit they were real diamonds(?!) and so the setting must be real gold after all. But he did add sulkily that it was most probably rubbish gold. What prompted this offering of a factually wrong and frankly rudely delivered opinion I don't know, but it upset me terribly. I've since verified the stones to be genuine and the gold the be real. I had intended to get a quote for a wedding ring but will not be touching this business with a barge pole in the future. If this rude man can't tell a sapphire from a diamond....
