Humphries Shoes

Bought a pair of Clarks school shoes for my son. After 6 hours wear, they are badly scuffed. I contacted the store as I bought them online to be told my son had misused them. I am absolutely livid. Instead of advising that the shoes should last longer than 6 hours and be used normally by an 8 year old they have accused my son of not wearing them in a way that would ensure they dont scuff. I cant believe the gall! He walked to school with his Nan, stayed in doors all day as it was raining and yet it is his fault the shoes are not fit for purpose! Do not buy from this store, their customer service is shocking, dismissive and likes to blame an 8 year old for their products failing quality standards!

We were visiting the Cotswolds from Surrey. Had been to Bicester Village looking for men's shoes. Fabulous place but did not want to spend 600 on a pair of shoes. We took a wrong turn and was passing Humphries by chance. How glad we stopped, very helpful staff good selection of mens and bought a pair for 100. Shame the shop is not local for us. Jenny Smith

Awful refund policy. Went in mid November and was told 14 days for a refund, no Xmas extension to this policy, only exchange. Bought the Sorrel Shoes online direct. 15% off and extended full Xmas refund till 25th January with free postage. Independent shops complain locals dont support them yet will not offer a comparable price or refund policy that is offered online. Very short sighted attitude which makes it impossible if you are buying for a present.
