Loved it, simple as that. Probably the cleanest hotel/motel/guest house/B&B room I've stayed in for a looong time! If you're planning on staying in the town during your stay and not moving your car then the free parking next to Tesco is ideal and just a short walk away. Everything in the town is pricey, wouldn't bother with Huffkins for food again, not very tasty and very expensive. Look across the street and to the right from Victoria House, there's a little cafe there run by two lovely ladies. Great prices, lovely food and scones,cakes etc and dig friendly too. If you like your fish and chips, walk down the hill to Greedys! Rooms: We had a lovely room on the top floor, well appointed, very clean. Could have done with a second chair though.

Would advise staying at other hotels close by We were sadly let down by no running water meaning we were unable to shower, clean teeth or even flush the toilet. There was also no wifi if you require this for work laptops. There was no help when we were there and no response to our 3 emails and phone call despite us being very friendly and fair on stating the issues. Good location if youre willing to risk no water or compensation.

It is a nice place exactly in center of the village. The room was big and clean I highly recommend. Walkability: Is in the centre of the village Stow-on-the-wold, which is a beautiful place with lots of cafe's, little cheese stores and restaurants everything is near by..1,2 maximum 5 minutes walking. I highly recommend this place.
