        Excruciatingly slow service. 30 minute wait time for a prescription that had been sent to them several days previously. The small pharmacy next door is so much better. I will be avoiding York pharmacy in the future.

        No communication from person serving behind the counter. She took my name after wandering around being concerned about ooh the shred it mans here and the post lady, ooh everyone is coming at once! She didnt communicate further and just walked off. I had to ask is my prescription ready or shall I come back? She seemed shocked I had asked! Outdated tatty A4 paper signs on the door lead the public to believe they only allow 2 people in at a time and you MUST wear masks- neither are true! 20 minutes in total I waited for a prescription (that was ordered yesterday morning!). Yet the smaller more efficient pharmacy next door is super fast and has actual effective communication (I know as I collect my fathers prescriptions from there regularly!). I have got home and changed my nominated pharmacy as its just not working here anymore. With the doctors now moved and times changing they will really have to buck up their public facing roles to retain custom!!
