My father spent the last year of his life receiving the best possible care from the staff at Lordington Park. During these difficult times, he was positive and always grateful for the help and care he received, enjoying the home-cooked food and while he was able to, the company of other residents and the countryside setting of this beautiful home. It is the nearest to being in your own home that is possible when care demands exceed those your family are able to give. However hard it is to make the decision for elderly parents to move to full-time care, Lordington Park felt like extended family from the care he received and the relationship he made with the staff and they with him. Thank you to all the staff for all the help, support and care my father received during his last days. I and the family are truly grateful.

My 91-year-old mother, who has dementia, has been a resident since October 2015. Throughout this time we have always been delighted with the care she receives and she is able to enjoy an excellent quality of life in a very caring and loving environment. The family management and staff are a very cohesive team and the peaceful atmosphere conveys a sense of home from home. Since March 2020 (COVID-19) the staff have offered relatives different ways to be able to keep in touch or visit. The latest facility is a completely enclosed inside pod which has been constructed in a corner of the large drawing room. Visitors enter by a French window, which has a large picture window into the drawing room: the resident sits in front of the window and wears a headphone/microphone connected to a speaker in the pod. This is a wonderful addition and we can now sit opposite my mother and talk with her without the need of mask or visor. Well done Lordington.
