The initial experience as far as picking the plot , looking at our part built property , visiting at it's various stages of completion and choosing the fixtures and fittings was fantastic . The site office staff couldn't be more accommodating and helpful, BUT.......That quite frankly is where it stops and all goes to wrong!!
The contant false promises and changing of goalposts and absolute downright lies is something that I find unacceptable.
Crest were more than happy to take our 440,000 but as far as after sales service goes they have failed miserably. Staff turn over has been significant, probably due to the way crest treat people. The list of jobs we were told that would be done, only to be told now that due to covid and staff turnover crest have issues on a telephone call last week..July 2021...of course covid hasn't affected any other business in the world!!! But my promised work now longer is going to happen. You can NEVER get through to customer services..10 weeks to get my latest reply. Our site has had major pot holes in the road exposed with no consideration for residents for weeks!!!! NHBC now involved as crest have gone against all the rules. Absolutely appalling...would think twice before buying new from Crest.
Needless to say the whole experience has left a very bitter taste......
