Recently visited the shop having prearranged a time to try on approach shoes. Helpful staff and another satisfied customer with a new pair of La Sportiva's.

Travelled to the rock and run store at Sandside for climbing shoe fitment; 1 - The store temperature was pretty much the same as outside temp, meaning the climbing shoes were freezing cold and hard to get a good fit as they don't stretch and act like they would when climbing. Both members of staff were wearing coats and hats. Perhaps the owner can put the heating on? 2 - There was no where to try the shoes against a small edge. Easily remedied as you probably have holds in stock? 3 - We felt a little rushed and the member of staff tried to sell my wife size x. I pushed for her to try on the size below just to make sure they were the fitment, good job I did because she ended up taking that smaller size. When your spending 130+ you want to make sure you've got the right size. Overall I thought we were going to get a professional climbing shoe fitment but it wasn't. My local wall does a better job at getting you the right shoes. Hopefully you can change some things with this feedback. All the Best

Pete from the Customer Service and Support have been very helpful answering all my inquiries regarding on purchasing a product on the site. I purchased a rock climbing shoes, without properly knowing the shipping rules outside of UK, I was charge extra but Pete went above and beyond assisting me to get a refund back on the additional VAT fees. I wasn't expecting this but the level of service coming from this person is outstanding! my order arrived quick under DHL and I'm very happy with my purchased. Thanks for the advice Pete. Very knowledgeable and went out of his way to educate me on the different products and where and what seasons the boots would be best suited
