I really liked the service, personnel and general feeling of being a valued customer. Unlike other pushy opticians, they are not in the business of selling you expensive frames, they just want you to be happy and satisfied.

After struggling to find a set of frames I liked after my latest eye test, I wandered into Averns & Sandall on recommendation from my wife and met Danny. After studying my prescription, he quickly gave me a full breakdown of my lens options with associated costs, and was quick to start suggesting frames that would suit both my face and my lens thickness. He was friendly and professional throughout, and ultimately offered me a deal I couldn't refuse. Since then, I've been back once or twice for aftercare/to collect frames as they were delivered to store, and he's been nothing but helpful - going above and beyond levels of customer service I'm accustomed to. Simply put, if you need new glasses, pay him a visit. I guarantee you'll leave more than satisfied.

Really positive experience at this opticians. Danny was super friendly, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable about all the different lens/coating options. He even went out of his way to try and help my dad source some very specific type of verifocals that are better for him but hard to come by. I've been recommending this place to everyone I know because Danny was so lovely and really knew what he was talking about.

I really appreciate this opticians. The staff there are so nice and friendly. I had my eyes tested today and came away having had a really good experience. Felt so at ease in the chair having my eyes tested, he was so lovely and chatty. I normally get nervous with things like this and didnt feel uncomfortable at all. Danny helped me choose my glasses, he was brilliant, was very helpful and friendly, didnt rush me at all, let me look at as many pairs as I liked and try them on, he gave me his honest opinion too. I highly recommend this opticians and have already told my mum to go there next time instead of specsavers. They are so patient and kind. Thank you Storrington Averns and Sandall !!! Cant wait to pick up my new glasses.
