I can't recommend Penny and Safe Hands Funeral Services highly enough. She was wonderfully calm and compassionate and made a difficult time a lot easier. She worked with our family to create an incredibly personal and special funeral. Whilst it wasn't a factor we also found that Safe Hands Funeral Services were excellent value for money.

Penny came into our lives 5 months ago to help manage and organise the funeral of my Mum. 5 months on, and 4 funerals of families and friends later, I feel that Penny and her team are Angels in disguise. They offer a truly professional service, sprinkled with kindness, love and compassion. They dont only care for your lost loved one, but they dust down, patch up and assist in the healing of those that have to go on living following a loss. I am truly grateful for all they have done for myself, my family and my friends and if I could I would give a 1000 star rating to this exceptional team. Thank you just isnt enough. Xx

Our Mum passed away very suddenly, and it was a complete shock and devastating. Throughout what has been a very difficult time, Penny has been incredibly supportive and caring. Ive never dealt with a funeral director before, but shes been amazing. All details taken care of in a compassionate and empathetic way. The florist and the celebrant both recommended by her were first class. Exemplary service and I personally appreciate the care she showed throughout and particularly on the day. I would have no hesitation in recommending Penny and her team.

The well trodden cliche there simply arent enough superlatives to describe just how superb something is sums up perfectly how my family feels about Safe Hands Funeral Services in Pulborough, West Sussex. Penny Strachan, the Director is an utterly professional, caring and dedicated lady who exuded empathy and understanding from the moment my wife and I met her. Penny held our hands through my wifes mothers funeral which culminated in a flawless and touching farewell service. When a loved one passes away, emotions are completely array and the ability to think clearly is adversely affected. Penny guided us through every aspect of what needed to be done which helped enormously in the lead up to the day of the funeral. My wife and I cannot praise Safe Hands highly enough, they are the pinnacle of excellence in every way. Thank you Penny x

We chose Safe Hands because they offered a service in their private chapel, rather than the much more formal service at the crematorium. Penny was caring and understanding, and her attention to detail ensured that nothing was overlooked. She recommended the florist and the celebrant, Sally, both of whom contributed to a moving and intimate service. Penny also arranged a Zoom link so that those who could not be there in person could view the service as well. Thank you Penny for your support at this very sad time.
