My Dad and I have bought 4 of the Micro Chef grill's as Christmas presents. 1 didn't have the owners manual or recipe book. My Dad contacted customer services and was told they couldn't help as we hadn't bought it either from the TV shopping channel or online, which both myself and my Dad feel is very unprofessional as it is their product we have bought. Also their attitude was extremely unhelpful. 1 star is too much but could only click 1 star.

I recently bought a Microwave grill and what an absolute waste of money. It does NOT do what it shows on tv. I've used it three times, twice for steak which has finished up in water as though it has been casseroled and anaemic looking. Once for chicken which burnt and stuck to the bottom. I tried it for the fourth time last night for pork chops and again they were swimming in water. There wasn't any sign of "griddle markings" on anything I have cooked. You are supposed to be able to cook food from frozen but I didn't. The meat would have been swimming if I had. My microwave is only 700 watts but I altered the heating up and cooking times as instructed in the manual. It's gone in the dustbin!!
