Barn Cottages

Just returned from a weeks holiday at Barn Cottages and this is an excellent location for a chill out breakaway. The cottages are well cared for and set in well tended gardens surrounded by open countryside. The cottage we occupied has a real home from home feel and the self catering accommodation is well equipped to an excellent standard. The cleanliness is outstanding and cannot be faulted. There is an abundance of footpaths through fields in the whole area for those wishing to take advantage of this. The owners Maria and Charles gave us a very warm welcome, nothing is too much trouble and they will happily assist in any way they can. A most enjoyable and comfortable stay, highly recommended.

We stayed for the first full week in June and had a wonderful holiday. The cottage was immaculate and opens onto a beautiful garden. The surroundings are peaceful and super relaxing. Being city dwellers it was lovely to wake up on a morning and, with the window open, be able to hear nothing but birdsong. It was our first time in Suffolk and we were very impressed. Not only is there good walking to be done and lots of charming countryside but there are many picturesque towns and villages to visit - we felt spoilt for choice. Maria is really friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed another week.
