WOW! Just wow! The Cabinets are so much better than I thought. Had two lovely chaps deliver the cabinet for me and it looks really great in my store. Staff were helpful and would definately use again! :)

As the clubs treasurer I purchased an oak cased trophy cabinet for our cricket club as a memorial to my dad. This weekend saw our opening game and was an opportunity for me to see the cabinet for the first time. It is excellent and the clubs trophies are shown off fabulously. The ordering process was straightforward. Rang to confirm our chosen cabinet could be made in oak, yes. Would I pay a deposit as it was being made to order, a reasonable request, no problem. There is a lead time of 8 weeks, again not a problem as we were in the close season and it was approaching Christmas. So order placed, deposit made. Cannot quite remember if the 8 week lead time was met but didnt have to chase as I was contacted to arrange a delivery time. Arrangements made, cabinet delivered, unpacked and put into position. Final payment made. All straightforward. Charlotte has kept me informed all the way, always prompt to reply, many thanks. I would highly recommend this company.

The presales assistance was excellent. We wanted changes to the standard size and wood effect and Gordon was excellent in getting us to the point of order. The manufacturing area wanted a sample of the match we required and the furniture manufacturer sent within two days. After about 10 days we were informed that the couldn't get 100% match but were 95% there. Delighted we placed our order for a special cabinet and following recommendations from Gordon had the LED strips fitted underneath each shelf. The delivery times were not met and I would have given 5* had communication been forthcoming rather than having to chase. It's better to relay bad news on delivery rather than no news. Delivery day arrived and we had the unit installed by the carrier and instruction on operating the remote LED lights. The unit is beautiful and the match to our furniture perfect. The LED lights certainly gives the unit a boost and makes a great addition to the overall look of the cabinet. My only issue now is slowing the wife down trying to fill it. The units are manufactured in the EU thus conforming to quality standards, a key reason I purchased from RDS. I thoroughly recommend RDS to supply these beautiful cabinets, and have done so to an Optician locally.

Worst customer service experienced Bought a cabinet 4 weeks ago Was told it would be delivered in 1 week Still chasing delivery date Get the driest answer over the phone They dont know when??? They havent got the ability to generate an receipt so theres no order number to reference to Moneys been taken Asked for it twice and still waiting!! Wont be using them again.

Ordered 2 bespoke display cabinets. Told 8-10 weeks to manufacture and deliver. Waited 12 weeks+ before I had to contact them (problem 1). They were finally delivered in enormous wooden crates which were nailed together requiring a crowbar to open and had to be broken down and disposed of myself (problem 2). When they were finally delivered the quality of the actual units was(/is) definitely lacking! Scuffed metal (problem 3) and missing holes in the top of one of the cabinet lids so the top did not sit flat (due to the lighting power unit mounted into the top of the cabinet - problem 4). The base of 2nd cabinet did not fit and split upon installing (problem 5). I bought flat pack bespoke units as explained at the time of ordering I had limited space and getting the cabinets up the stairs would be difficult. Their flat pack cabinets require over double the height to construct as the parts slot together from the top(unlike any cabinet I've purchased before - problem 6). The bulbs for the sides of the cabinets were also missing so had to be sent out separately (problem 7). I requested replacement parts to be delivered (top and base) which finally turned up about 6-8 weeks+ later! (Problem 8) I've unpacked the replacements today (admittedly I should have unpacked and inspected immediately but did not) and found the replacement top part is snapped off at the corner (due to terrible packaging) (problem 9)! These were extremely expensive units especially for a private individual! In total it was 5 months from initial payment to delivery of the replacement parts and even now I'm left with damaged units and damaged replacement parts. Disgusted. I had great initial pre-sales service (although their deals (10% off etc) do not apply to bespoke units... for... reasons?...) before they took my money then terrible unconcerned customer service after money was taken. I in no way whatsoever recommend this company or their crystalglass parter/parent company. Go elsewhere!
