        Stayed here 2 nights, and Id never return. Turn up late evening after a long travel, to be told that the hotel wants to take an extra deposit of 100 in case I trash the room, but theyll be nice and waive it this time (whats wrong with hello!?). This place is quite possibility the worst hotel Ive ever stayed in. The hotel looks like its stuck in the 1960s. The room was an absolute state with broken light fittings, a silverfish infestation in the bathroom, and what must be a bed salvaged from the river Thames. The mattress was so awful you could feel all the frame work and springs in the mattress. Now Campanile says, yes, this place needs freshening up, and theyre not wrong. It would probably be a good start just burning the whole building down and starting again. On the plus side, the shower was decent, at least after getting past the Silverfish.
