Charlies Cat Cafe

Our first time visiting on Sat 22nd April and we loved it. So many lovely cats with different personalities. They are all well looked after and we liked the fact that they don't accept children under the age of 6 (I know not everyone will agree with this, but we have been to bigger cat cafes where we've seen cats being pestered and chased around by younger kids and we felt that this was better for the wellbeing of the cats). Service and food was good as well, the place has a nice atmosphere and interior.

Extremely poor customer service the feedback comments from the place speaks for itself really. No idea how to communicate with people . Also lied to our faces, advised they was full when the place was empty ? They soon let us in as soon as we paid the booking fee. Will not be recommending or returning.

We travelled 40 minutes to get here, we knocked on in the cold rain and they advised they couldn't let us in as they was full we should have booked. We went across the road for coffee checked on their website and booked there and then for all 6 of us...we walked across and advised we had booked online after a booking fee of 54! We walked in and the place was empty! They blatantly lied to us just so we'd pay the booking fees, we got 2 coffees and a pot of tea between 4 us with this 54 .... criminal. I understand they need to look after the cats but it's not like they aren't charging ridiculous prices for the food. Absolute con artists ...no apology.
