I am quite disappointed with my overall experience with Malika. I went in for a manicure and to get a gel polish. I paid 33 and I did not get what I would expect from a manicure of this price. I was told that I would be able to get the design I wanted, but when it came to the execution the member of staff was unable to follow this through and in the end I told her to do something even more basic (it was already a basic design I had asked for). Getting my cuticles done was so painful, I am not sure why she was being so rough about it. However my biggest annoyance is that the gel finish did not last for more than a week. 6 days later the polish was already chipped and peeling off in places. For any gel manicure you expect it to last at least 2 weeks. For the price I paid I am really unhappy with my experience and sadly will not be returning. Service: Manicure

I went for a gel manicure in the Bluewater store however the nail technician was quite rude and told me that I needed more nail treatment than I had paid for. The variety of colours available was minimal, with most of them being very bright, so there was little choice for a subtle colour. The nail technician did not give me their advice on what colours would work best and she told me what nail shape to have instead of asking which shape I wanted. When painting my nails, she did not go to the edges and also did not cover most nails properly so I could see previous coats of the gel paint after she had finished. After a few hours of the gel setting, there were already bubbles and chips appearing on my nails and so at 24 I think that this was very poor value manicure. I would not recommend Service: Manicure

Lovely personal place. You feel cosseted and pampered. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. As the name suggests, it's an angelic place.
