Holly Lyon-Hawk

I live in Canada and was unable to travel to the UK immediately so it was important for me to find a Funeral Director who could do everything while I was still out of the country. Holly was the perfect choice. She provided a lovely personal touch and was always easy to contact throughout the whole process. My mother and I wanted a simple unattended cremation for my father, and Holly provided this for us. One tends to shy away from talking about the cost at such times, but her's was also the most reasonable fee that I was quoted.

Words can not describe how truly thankful my family and I, are for having Holly and her team enter our lives. Holly provided so much love, care, support and kindness, throughout this difficult time. Holly went above and beyond. This is a lady who is passionate about her work and will do anything to make this difficult time as gentle as possible. What on earth can I say about Holly Lyon-Hawk that hasn't already been said by others? She came into our lives at the most dreadful time our family has ever experienced and enabled us to provide a funeral ceremony and celebration for our beloved Graham that will stay with us forever. Her kindness, empathy and compassion went above and beyond anything we could have asked from a funeral director. She is simply wonderful. Thank you, Holly. You are - surely - the best. And we are so grateful for everything you did for us. If there are others out there, looking for a sensitive, caring and supportive person to guide and take them through their loved one's final journey ... rest assured, you will find that with Holly.

My wife recently passed away at the age of only 37. Her death was not unexpected and I had engaged Holly in advance. I found this a great comfort as Holly was thoughtful and supportive and also provided excellent advice to help us prepare. It meant that when the time came, I knew exactly what to do and who to call and this removed considerable stress from a very difficult circumstance. Holly is an excellent communicator, very responsive and reliable. Holly and her team could not have been more caring when it came to looking after my late wifes body. I was extremely happy with the highly personal and gentle service provided. Holly organised the funeral with the Church and the Cemetery, happily executing an extensive list of detailed instructions and wishes. Nothing seemed too much trouble and it all went perfectly to plan. A first class five star experience.

Well where to start; i can say that at a time in my life that i would describe as, being at my most vulnerable and frankly a little lost for the direction in the way to go i and my family found ourselves in a room with a real life angel; that being Holly, she was able to put us at ease and guide us through a real episode of heartbreak as i am sure is the same for a lot of people, whilst remaining compassionate and full of wonderful strategies to get through the necessary arrangements of; in our case a natural burial for my father. Holly was a real gem and worked with us as a family taking care of all our needs at this sad time, i would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone for the ultimate; end of life arrangements for a loved one that will become us all. In-fact i have already made arrangements for holly to make some provisions for myself and my wife Louise, so this is not such a burden to our own children when that time comes in our own lives. What a lovely lady. cant thank her enough.
