LETS RUN

From my experience the standard of customer service in specialist running shops is generally high. But even judged by those high standards this shop excels. The care, patience that was shown and advice given to make sure I bought the right shoes for me was exemplary.

For a relative newbie to running I was questioning whether I had the correct footwear, sizing and fit for my running style. I felt a little lost and short on knowledge until Shelli at 'Lets Run' was put to me as a recommendation by my local physio. So decided to pay a visit to the little shop in Great Ayton and wow, was I impressed.. (quick note) push the front door a little harder to get in, my feeble attempt to get in definitely drew some chuckles. Once in there I met Shelli who was listened to my back story and ambitions and then proceeded to blow my mind with her knowledge, customer service and attention to detail in terms of my requirements. I went in with a complete open mind in terms of the brand I wanted as I just wanted something that felt good when I ran in it. She had me running up and down the street in so many different pairs to try until we narrowed it down to 2-3 pairs then more running with split pairs to compare on my weaker leg (hip flexor). I finally settled on a pair of HOKA Clifton 9 and now I feel I have the confidence to go out and tackle those miles of tarmac with the perfect shoes for me. I will definitely be back to see Shelli and the team in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone in paying a visit there. A brilliant and knowledgeable local business who we should be delighted to support. Well done and thank you.

New to running so wanted some advice on my 1st running shoes. Thought a running shop would be intimidating but all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The young guy who dealt with us 1st was so knowledgeable and checked my gait in various shoes. Shelli was also really helpful and checked my gait and she was so friendly and patient finding the right shoes for me. Would highly recommend. Just done 1st run in new shoes and was so comfortable and they look the part too Brooks running shoes
