        Wet overnight so decided not to continue what I started yesterday. Would like to visit again on a dry day but with it being 200 miles from my home unsure when I'll return.

        Excellent place for walks. I take my dogs there and they love it. Kit hill had a lovely quarry too, our dogs love to swim there. If you like scrambling, there is huge boulders to climb. With many car parks at different levels, there is plenty of places to park. The only thing to watch out for is they have roaming horses which my dogs are happy to be around, but maybe some dogs will not be. Also I have seen adders there during summer months, lovely creature's but obviously not good for dogs to be bitten.
