We rented the "Swallows cottage" at Hopes guest house. It's a 1 bedroom cottage which is upside down, the large bedroom is on the lower floor with a walk-in shower room and is very comfortable indeed. The living room above has an open-plan area for dining and cooking, along with two comfortable single and twin chairs, colour flat TV & dvd player. It also has very good WiFi indoors. The garden behind is well maintained and a pleasure to walk around, you can also bring your 4 legged best friend for a small additional fee, who is welcome to use the garden, but please make sure you pick-up the droppings. The owners are a friendly couple and make you feel very welcome, stocking up the fridge with the basics and a lovely cream tea and wine. Highly recommended if you want a quiet getaway in reach of local hotspots. We'll certainly be booking again but if you read the guest book you'll have a lot of competition for the bookings.
