Kidsgrove Taxis

We are both disabled and have used Kidsgrove (or Alpha) Taxis whilst we are waiting for a car. They had been very good until recently when I asked for a car to the station as we were going away on train for a few days. The car turned up and refused to take the dog who is the tiniest thing, but more importantly has travelled in their cars many times. I had to ring the office and she sent another car but I was not happy as we had ordered a car for two adults, dog and luggage and so they knew the dog was with us. However she denied this. So today we came home and I tried to order a taxi from them. I was give a very blunt no the one who will take the dog has finished. I told her that there were many of them who had taken the dog. In fact we had taken a taxi to the vets and back. I was told there was no one working to take the dog and so we were left with no alternative but to drag a suitcase (luckily I had a walker with me so I could pile things on it) and the dog to the bus stop. What was even stranger was that whilst we stood by the bus stop two taxis went past, one of which was the one who refused to take us, but the other had taken us many times. When we got home one of their taxis pulled into the close opposite and he was the driver who had picked us up from the vets. We had been told no one was working who would take the dog. I will take many things but I will not tolerate a liar. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES KIDSGROVE/ALPHA TAXIS. You know we are disabled and yet you chose to let us struggle because you could not be bothered. I certainly wont be using you again thats for sure

We ordered a taxi in Alsager and were told 15 mins, 30 mins later no arrival, had a text saying due to demand it was delayed but was a priority. Rang 10 mins later was told it was 5 mins away, 20 mins later still no show. Disappointing to be lied to, just advise there are no taxis available. We were stuck in Alsager at midnight in the cold with no one around for us to get home. Poor service.

taxi service is great but did get told to f..k off on sat by someone on the base which upset me a lot
