Useless made mistakes and would not answer my calls to put them right avoid at all costs

Seemed a likeable chap, priced up for us & stood telling us how he tradesman working on his kitchen & couldn't get them to complete the job! He installed CCTV & security cameras for us & did a good tidy install. From then on I'm afraid, it becomes negative. We asked for a receipt & he advised he would drop it off or post it - it didn't happen. Immediately we saw problems with the date/time on the CCTV displaying incorrectly. We telephoned him numerous times within a couple of weeks & he went from answering us & saying he was out of the area, then telling us it was a software issue with the manufacturer, to then completely ignoring voicemail messages for him to contact us. I contacted the manufacturer myself & within a few minutes I was directed through the process - simple! We then, some 12mths later had an issue with one of the lights, again a phone call was made to him & surprise he was out of the area & would get back to us.....that was before Christmas 2017 & it's currently April 2018...guess what??? no contact from him! Would we use him again? certainly not, sadly there are far better tradesman to give your hard earned money to & yes we are still waiting for the receipt for our cash & manufacturer's warranty!
