The Hungry Ottoman Restaurant

This restaurant doesnt exist anymore. Made a reservation for dinner. Arrived at the location and its now been turned into something else (that was closed). If this is still serving food online, its a ghost kitchen now. Would not recommend for dine-in

They create fake restaurants among the delivery service platforms like Uber or Deliveroo. What you see on the picture is actually "slow cooked chicken mexican bowl" ordered from a restaurant named "Mexican Fiesta". This is nowhere near slow cooked chicken, it is not a mexican food and it is definitely not matching what they show on pictures (on deliveroo/uber eats). As you can see, there are stickers of "The Hungry Ottoman" of those quazi-sauces. I will make sure those guys will get banned from each platform they open. How is it possible that these guys just create fake restaurants among Uber and Deliveroo to just get share of the other cuisine market. Definitely my worst experience among all the restaurants in stoke-on-trent. I am ordering takeaway nearly everyday. Oh btw, and they also give no receipt when you order from one of their fake restaurants.

Organised 3 to 4 group meals there with friends , colleagues and once with family. Paid deposits and pre-ordered in advance all 3 times. All 3 time they didnt have the dish we pre-ordered a week in advance. And yet took them over 1hour 20 min for the food to come out. If food finally came it was all mixed up. Some had our starters and others their main despite they also order starters. Not even once been offered an apology or a discount for the errors and delay they made. Food is tasty and front desk staff are lovely but managed is way below standard. When paying for the food which came over 240 the card machine wasnt working. The boss then said to go across the road and take cash out from the ATM. He said he would come with me to the cash point. I didnt feel comfortable at all. I was happy to leave my iPhone 13pro with them while I go alone and get the cash. I was creeped out! Never going back.
