My husband was taken to this home from hospital and put in isolation for ten days. We didn't see him until after the ten days and he had deteriated really badly but the staff didn't appear to notice. I alerted them to get an ambulance but no doctor coming the next day was told. The doctor hasn't been for two years!!! My husband was seriously I'll with low blood pressure, low oxygen levels and a water infection. In hospital for the next 5/6 weeks! To top it all they lost half of his clothes!!

The care and attention my husband Keith had here was excellent. The carers are very patient with a difficult job. The food is delicious and well served. Pured meals are formed to look real! The office doors of the Manager Janet and the nurses were never closed when they were in the office and welcomed anyone who needed a chat. My husband was only there for 3 months. But his care was good especially in the last few weeks before he sadly passed away. The home has a homely feeling.

Should have reviewed closer to the time. My Grandmother was transferred to this care home from hospital where she deteriorated quickly after a fall. We spent a lot of time there and we didn't see staff with her an awful lot. Her perfume was stolen, and worst of all, as was her wedding ring off her finger. We told staff about this and I told them I would have to report it to the police- they did, but refused to give the incident number when requested, one member of staff was very apologetic and helpful and promised that they would contribute part of the value to something my Mother could remember her by, the other said "We can't do anything about it" and multiple calls, and the value which I was requested to send over was ignored. Sentimentally nothing could be done but it was heartbreaking, she had worn that ring for 65 years and it was taken from her in her last week. We felt like my Grandfather had no proper apology, or ability to do anything about it.
