Elizabeth House

The excellent care given by the care staff and middle management at Elizabeth House is undermined by senior management who do not reply to e mails letters etc and show no real care for the relatives trying to make life better for their loved ones.

Mum has lived here approx 10 yrs. The new management are absolutely wonderful, the staff go over and beyond for us the family and most importantly mum. Any issues have always been sorted very quickly. Mum was 90 this yr and as we couldnt do anything special for her, because of the covid staff brought her to the reception where that door was kept closed, and all the family were there on the car park. Singing happy birthday. It was made very special by all the staff.

Excellent retirement home albeit I was there for respite after a broken arm. Facilities were very good indeed. Ensuite shower room, outside I had my own patio table and chairs and parasol. The staff were absolutely fantastic on every count. They treated me incredibly well, some over and beyond the call of duty. Due to my food intolerances, they had to cook me special meals Which they did most days. They had entertainment several times a week which was mostly not to my taste As it was aimed at the older generation, who loved it! However, there was an exercise class once a week which was excellent. As for the owners,they were absolutely amazing on every count. They came to see me nearly every day to see how I was. They also took packages to the post office, got me supplies of my favourite drink and and the List goes on. I would recommend this retirement home for yourself or your family. Youll be very very well looked after.

My mother lived in Elizabeth House for 8 months prior to passing away. In that time she was shown dignity, respect and good loving care by management and carers alike. The management was always available to discuss any concerns I had regarding Mums well being, no matter how small. Mum was happy, her room was lovely with garden aspect and ensuite. We visited regularly and on each visit were made very welcome by whichever members of staff were on duty. As a family we would highly recommend this care home.
