Awful experience with this company. I would urge people to consider finding a better option. I can't fault the quality of the bone china itself, they are beautiful mugs crafted to a very high standard. However, the issue I have is the fact they've taken my designs and produced a very poor quality reproduction of them, sent them out to me and ignored me from that point on. I have since spoken to other companies, who have explained the issues they may have in reproducing my images, stating it would take a number of test prints to get things right...which in turn costs money, rendering the project unfeasible to due to the small batch number. After learning all this (which Heraldic Pottery kept very quiet) it's clear to me they've taken one look at the images, printed them through without any test printing, shipped them out and collected their pay. I emailed throughout the process with concerns, to which I received replies (after about a week, each time) stating 'all looks fine'. They're the experts so I put my faith in them, being a complete newcomer to china printing myself. Ideally they would have stated how things were going to turn out, I'd have changed my designs to suit the mug printing process and returned to them. I do feel because I was such a small batch, they've just done any old job because it's probably small pennies to them. They haven't cared about my order from the start. Been content with doing a dreadful printing process, collected the money and disappeared on me. Now I'm stuck with mugs I cannot sell, because they've provided such a poor quality service, 9 smashed mugs on arrival which they haven't offered any compensation for and zero communication from them after countless attempts to get answers. There are MANY companies I have now found who are SO much more informative and attentive. If the conversation arises, I will forever steer people away from this company. Go elsewhere!
