G&E Fires Stoves Bathrooms Ltd

G&E have just fitted a new central heating boiler plus modified pipework. Also completely gutted and fitted a new bathroom . Kelvin and Mat left it clean at the end of each day and we are very happy with all the work they have done. Tracey in the shop was very helpful and professional. Thank you to Tracey and Darren (GE) and Joe and Ian who all worked together as the perfect team to install our beautiful new fire and all before Christmas. The whole process, which ran like clockwork, was professionally managed by Darren and Tracey and the work carried out by Ian the plasterer and Jo who built the chimney breast and installed the fire and TV was first rate. Amazing experience from everyone involved. I would proudly recommend GE and the trades to anyone. Thank you all again for your efficiency and professionalism. The worst service I've ever experienced. From the moment you walk through the door we were made to feel very unwelcome, as though we had walked into their house uninvited. Not a "Hello", "How can we help?", "What are you looking for?". Nothing. When you broach the people in there (seemingly the owners) to ask them a question they are very brief and seem annoyed at your presence altogether. A very uncomfortable experience yet again. I am not one for leaving reviews full stop, and definitely not bad ones as I am not easily offended by people and can understand that working in a customer facing role could be very difficult, as you never know what's happened in somebody's personal life to make them act or appear a certain way on one particular day, but feel I should share this as we left feeling frustrated and annoyed. We had gone out excited to purchase a fire ready to finish off our living room in time for Christmas and have left feeling disappointed to say the least. We have visited the shop twice before and the service has been just as abysmal each time. Really wanted to give them another chance and shop local instead of buying online but had to walk out after half an hour of us milling around waiting for one of the owners to lift their heads or acknowledge us or engage with us in any way. As I said when we did approach them their response was appalling.
