        On a sunny day its a glorious place to look out over its surroundings.

        Nice place. Not too steep to reach the castle. Some parking places. Probably reach full capacity during busy times. As it's high its windy. Hat and good walking shoes needed. Great views of Staffordshire moorlands. It's a drive on narrow roads, up hill to reach the car park.

        Beautiful on a lovely day .. far reaching views over the Cheshire Plains .. sunset is spectacular from the Castle overlooking the plains .. disability parking available but you have to exit the car with wheelchair up the footpath on your right to see the sunset as the houses opposite block the viewpoint from the car park itself.
