British Heart Foundation Furniture & Electrical

A BIT HIGHER I often visit british heart foundation to just to have a look. First, I need to tell that they have just furniture and electronics. So, I bought a microwave 6 months ago and It still works very well. I have no compliants. But some appliances and furniture seems to be bit higher price than usual. My point of view can be wrong but obviously it depends on every pocket.

I dont normally do this but it does get under my skin a biggish women on the till here lets say attitude love,ee all time picked a tele was 10 pound had a sign by it dvd as it had a dvd built in nothing great but 10 pound for one my children ideal I got mouthful where the scan code been ripped off looking at me like I done it o said theres a sign by it at take it off the shelf she told me 3 times they were shutting 10min then 5 mins in the end she sort of hatched off with it so I said Ill leave it you dont want well your saying I cant as no scan code and the sign was only dvd player which was with the tele so I said leave it she carried on lovee so I said leave it lovee she then said we shutting got get some rest in for it all sudden then dumps it on a chair said 20quis u can have it said no chance was 10 wont use this dump with attitude staff charity shop not currys lovee

Disappointing. Arranged two collections for the same three piece suite. Didn't turn up for either. The first time I was told they had failed to give the driver the paperwork. My mother had kindly agreed to be at my place all day and wasted a 20 mile round trip to do so. Contacted BHF Stoke to explain I'd been let down. Rearranged collection for the Friday of the same week and was told, upon asking, that they'd definitely turn up in the morning and not the afternoon. Suited me well, as I informed them I'd be out in the afternoon. On the Friday I received a call at 1pm saying they wouldn't be able to make it in time. Summary: disorganised, inadequate service. People like me kindly pay your wages. I'll take my stuff to somewhere that respects its customers as it should.

Shocking. I was donating a lovely 3 piece suite with no rips or tears, with fire stickers and in really good condition. Because it had a few marks on it due to the sun they wouldn't take it. They are getting something for nothing and selling at extortionate prices. Hang your heads in shame
