We can only say what an absolute breeze and perfect experience it all was. Shannon took the time to listen to our wants and guided us around the showroom with a wealth of knowledge we didn't have ourselves. 100% recommend OER. Brilliant company

We are absolutely over the moon with our new multifuel stove and couldn't be happier with choosing to go with O.E.R. Each step of the process has been easy and stress free. Shannon has been utterly fantastic throughout. We went for a multifuel stove, brick chamber, hearth and oak beam. We requested to have the beam stained to match our existing furniture and they've done a brilliant job matching it. We spoke with Shannon on our first visit and chose our stove. John then came out to survey the job and put together a quote and finalised options. We then went back in and paid our deposit with Shannon. We used their installer Ash who came out to rip out the old fireplace and widen the chimney breast. A week later he was back and done a cracking job fitting everything. The following day their recommended plasterer Richard came out and has done a superb job plastering. All that's left for me to do now is paint the plaster. It's completely transformed our sitting room. I'd recommend to anyone wanting a stove or fireplace to consider using O.E.R, they are a brilliant company who do fantastic work. Thanks very much guys.

I can honestly say the whole experience from OER Fireplaces was brilliant! The show room has so many different fires and examples. I was spoilt for choice! The staff are very professional and helped me through the entire process from start to finish. I couldnt be happier with the end result. Exactly what I wanted! The after sale experience was also fantastic. I will definitely be recommending OER Fireplaces to all my friends and family.

BE INQUISITIVE ABOUT THE LACK OF NEGATIVE REVIEWS We purchased our Liberty Suite (Milo Stove & surround) in November 2021. On delivery the finish on the feet was poor (very sharp edges) and the feet gouged large scratches out of the spray painted MDF hearth. I had discussions with an OER representative to arrange repair whereby I was told that I would have to "be patient", I was later accused of being a liar. After two failed replacements (different issues) we contacted a Director who informed us that there has been a "serious issue with flame effect motors" and that since October the company had seen "far too many failing motors." He assured us that as a result of these faults the company had changed suppliers. He informed us that he could arrange a full refund or a replacement stove and a gift voucher as a gesture of "goodwill." [we never did receive the voucher and were later called liars for suggesting that this had been offered]. We agreed to a replacement which would be delivered the following week. Almost 3 weeks later I chased the whereabouts of our replacement and it was delivered a week after this - flashes of light out of the back of the stove were present on this model too). 1st November 2022 the stove began to make noises, I was informed by the director that "it's a relatively easy fix just needs to be refreshed on the actual model" (whatever that means). By this point we had given up hope of ever owning a fully functioning, reliable stove from OER so requested a full refund instead. 5th November 2022 Director agreed to sort a full refund, when I promted him a couple of days later, all of a sudden it was no longer "within my remit" to process a refund, informing me that he was now "stepping back" leaving me to deal with a different Director. This is where the real challenge began. After many emails back and forth and much use of the word "goodwill gesture" (I have since realised that OER & I have a different understanding of the phrase "goodwill gesture") we were offered a full refund for the stove ONLY if we agreed to sign a confidentiality agreement which we were not prepared to do - I wonder how many other people would have left a negative review had they not signed this to obtain a refund? We declined to sign the confidentiality agreement, as a result we were told in the middle of December (after several letters/emails) that in order to have a full refund we would need to return the stove & surround - I wonder if it was a coincidence that this was a week before Christmas? Our opinion is that after 6 weeks of "negotiations" where we refused to be bullied this was an attempt to cause maximum disruption to us and our home. During this process we have been called liars on two occasions, the phrase "goodwill gesture" has been banded about an awful lot despite us seeing no "goodwill" only disruptive, argumentative interactions and we were unable to receive a functioning stove despite 4 different stoves/5 different motors. Having seen their previous conduct I am sure that attempts will be made to discredit this review and call it unfair. I have copies of all of the letters/emails/whatsapp interactions & videos/sound recordings to support this review. In summary, it is a beautiful piece of furniture (albeit made from MDF), but order at the risk of your mental health in case you are unlucky enough to get a faulty product.
