The food was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Prices of each dish was good value for money. The restaurant let itself down by not adequately cleaning furniture, providing tatty stained menus and staff could have been more hospitable after all they are in the hospitality business.

Food was awful, saag paneer the sauce was pesto with a bit of spice in. Chicken was dry. It was as if the chicken was cooked separately and the sauce (not authentic in any way) was tasteless. They charged 2.70 for the sauce tray AND put a 10% service charge on. There was two of us spending a total of 44.50 for two mains, two rices one veg dish and a coke. On top of the ridiculous price for the sauce tray. DO NOT GO

Good food but they charge 1.15 for "POPPERDUMS" and send you 1 popperdum.

Surprised by the lack of traditional indian restaurant surroundings,it was very open and bright. Not as welcoming as l would of expected.Cobra beer was tasty, wine for the mrs,we both had a starter mine was the 65, which was a spicy chicken, my wife had small battered fish.I felt that it was bought in so 'frozen' not fresh. Mains- My wife had the butter chicken, the sauce on the butter chicken was tasty. I had the chicken chettinad, the sauce tasted as if it was a bit burnt,we both had pilau rice, peshwari nan(that was super nice) and bombay aloo. This was a southern indian restaurant,so l think different from the 'mainstream' indian restaurants. The food just seemed like it was not 'prepared fresh' even the butter chicken sauce, and the chicken chettinad sauce was to smooth and looked 'bought in',ok l maybe wrong, but its what I felt it was like. Also l'm not into 'kids' birthday cake, and singing 'Happy Birthday' still its near a city,so they might do things differently. Again this is just 'My opinion'.Best part of the meal was the 'Peshwari Nan' by far.
