Due of my daughter physiotherapy sessions every Friday We are coming to Stafford and staying at Holiday Inn. Stafford branch was fully booked so I choose the Stoke one. When we arrived the room was very cold . I thought it is normal because they didn't turn on the heating. But heating was on and it doesn't heat. Pick up the phone, the room phone was broken. Went to reception, I think his name is Martin. He advised to bring a portable heating. I said ok. if it will sort the issue I don't mind. They bring it but 45 minutes passed the heater just heating itself. Went again hopefully they arrange another room to stay. Staff were helpful but They should check the rooms if everything working etc. Another issue I surprised I received an letter from a parking company to pay parking fine while I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Stoke on Trent. How I need to pay for parking while staying at hotel. When they got my details at hotel reception they took the registration number like they did Stafford holiday inn and didn't mention I need to pay for parking. For both reason, I think , I will never visit Holiday Inn Stoke Update: Thank you Google. After my review I have contacted to manager Luke. He contact the parking company and cancelled that parking fine. Also, apologised for experience we had. Due their behaviour and approaching me nicely and try to solve issues I'm going to update my review.
