C McGough & Sons - Funeral Directors Tunstall Stoke On Trent

A company called coastal media called in to my florist shop asking if i would like to advertise with them to go in to mcgoughs funeral care book at the fee of 624, i asked if Tim (the owner of mcgoughs knew about it) and he said yes, but for peace of mind i rang Tim to check it was all above board and that he had no other contract with any other florist, Tim agreed and confirmed he had no other contract, so i went ahead with the advert. I have been left very disappointed and very much out of pocket as no body came to me from this advert, i thought with being a funeral director they would have had more honesty.

McGough & Sons have provided their services to my family for many generations. Paul directed my father's funeral 42 years ago and his son, Tim, and grandson, Callum, my mother's this week. They make a very difficult time a lot easier, guiding you through everything with a friendly, easy manner. Never trying to influence your decisions ( or, woe betide "upsell" of which I've heard horror stories of other so-called establishments ! ) They can do as much or as little as you want and can help regardless of budget or requirements. Please know that you can trust them implicitly in your time of need.

I just wanted to say a Huge thank you to C Mcgough & Sons who took the stress and worry out of the celebration of life for my Nan Rita Ross today. They've been compassionate and helpful giving guidance on what the process would be for Nan and on how to register her death. They managed to secure a funeral service before my Mum's birthday and gave good advice on where to hold the wake and produced a beautiful order of service. They sorted the flowers with a local company as well which were perfect. The cars were immaculate and they were so caring and gentle with the family turning up on time and not rushing us. They showed respect by walking before the car. The live feed for family abroad went without a hitch. Absolutely faultless we can't thank them enough for everything they arranged and for the care they took with Nan and the lovely dress they put her in. All the staff were so helpful, kind, courteous and reassuring just what we needed on the day.
