Chris has been amazing. I bought my MGA in for a service and he has been nothing but professional. It has never run so well. There is a bad review on here about bodywork which makes no sense as Chris doesnt even do bodywork. So think they must mean a different Chris Shenton

I purchased an Aston Martin DB5 from a person who had restoration performed by Chris Shentons shop shortly prior to my purchase. The car was painted (overseen) by Chris and I shortly found out after taking ownership that the body was loaded with excessive body filler throughout the car. The front nose and roof had up to 1/2 inch thick of the filler. The damage that was botched repaired was so bad that I had to have a new front clip section installed. Many, many hours were spent to correctly repair the body. The engine was restored by Chris. Inspection revealed that there was extreme corrosion on the block when the liners were pulled. The corroded area was loaded (covered) with silicone. The engine would have failed within a short time. I had to purchase a new block which was very costly. A weld repair was extremely expensive and I had concerns with putting that much heat to the block. I spent a fortune to correct Chris Shentons shoddy workmanship.
