Shelton Dental Centre

I am really anxious and not a fan of dentists. I emailed about an NHS appointment. Got one within a week. The dentist was lovely. They did an x-ray and made a plan. The hygienist was booked up until July but everywhere is super busy right now so can't complain.

They call and cancel the appointment and then wen we go today they tell us my daughter needs the appointment my daughter as been with this dentist since she was a baby and she is now 15

Only required to see the hygienist but they deregister you for not having a check up. I pay for my treatments my teeth are fine so I dont feel the need for a check up. Want me come back in March to register again. Nope

Called today as I chipped my tooth over the weekend. The male receptionist asked questions about pain and sensitivity which Im both only to be give the 26th April. I questioned the 5 week wait and told to put sensitive toothpaste on the area. I asked to speak to the practice manager only to be told she was on annual leave and to email the complaint. I ended the call and filled in the online request for the email address. I then received a phone call from another receptionist who stated that the complaint needs to be sent in writing and that actually they dont have a practice manager when I questioned why the male receptionist lied she raised her voice and was extremely rude. This practice has declined in care and Staff attitude to patients. The management team need to take a look at the receptionist and ensure more training is provided as her attitude is totally unacceptable.
