Great place to come and see some majestic buildings and museums from the industrial revolution. Plenty of canals to walk along.

Been attending this swimming pool for several years now and the place keeps getting worse. Haven't been for at least 6 months but is the only place locally now to take my daughter swimming. The facilities are always grubby/dirty the place has a poorly looked after feel to it. The staff are always quite rude and unhelpful when I pointed out a very dirty changing cubicle they just shrugged their shoulders and did nothing about it. The reception staff are downright rude and do little to help when you ask a question and at other times blankly ignore you when you approach the counter and continue to gossip with their mates. The pool area itself feels run down and again grubby with many broken tiles and pieces missing from the roofing. They have now introduced car-parking fees for a car-park which even when the centre has been busy has never been more than half full. To be honest I try to avoid as much as possible and recommend you do the same.
