Sick of hearing the annoying BELL!!!.... It's been silent for a few weeks, thought it had broke, but no..... shame the church doesn't care about it's neighbors...... ok I'll hold my hands up and say I'm wrong. Just spoken to the vicar who's said he'll turn the bells off at 9 o'clock because I'm a shift worker and I'm trying to have a sleep at 9 o'clock in the morning. He's also said that the church is going to have a make over in September, so I'll keep my fingers crossed that they don't chop down the lovely trees. Hopefully he comes true with everything he says.

I heard they fixed the bell. Good, bells are meant to ring! Especially church bells. Someone commented they werent happy the bell was fixed, but I guess they dont go to church or know why they are rung. I think it only rings 3 times a day, and only for a few seconds at a time. St Werburgh is a great church with really friendly priests and people. They do loads for the local community, especially at the hospital over the road. Im always made to feel welcome whenever I go there.

Shame they've cut all the trees down, looks a right mess now. Very dated church, not very nice looking building at all. And it's got the most annoying bell that ring's for what feels like forever on a Sunday morning whilst you're trying to have a lie in then just rings through the week at odd time's. Feel like this church is far to big for how many people don't use it, needs to be knocked down and a smaller better looking place of worship built in it's place. Shame really because back in it's day it was a lovely, imposing building.
