I'm not a negative review person at all but I feel I have to on this occasion. Where to start.... They never answer the phone. This is by far the most frustrating thing. You can end up waiting nearly two weeks for any confirmation of a prescription being ready. We have to pop into store to collect a week after its been ordered in the hope its ready. Only to be told its not been picked yet and can we come back tomorrow or wait an hour. As a type one diabetic i dont have an hour to wait after a day at work. When you go into store there is often a que. I fully understand this its a very busy place at times and the staff are 100% over worked. I feel they either need more staff or some way of limiting how many customers they take on for prescriptions. They don't seem to be able to cope with the demand. I don't have an issue with any of the staff I always find them helpful and I can imagine it's a very frustrating place to work. There are alot of people in the same boat as me needing life sustaining medication and like me they could do without the stress of it all. After I've collected this last prescription I can't wait to change pharmacies. I'm actually releaved in the thought of never setting foot in Boots Tunstall ever again! Just to add I went into store tonight to pick up prescription. Was told one of the items was not in stock and they couldn't get. So I've waited just over a week for nothing. No form of Contact. No call, no text message. If I hadn't have gone in tonight I'd still be waiting. What an absolute joke!

Walked for quite a while to get there only to arrive and be told that the store is closed from 1 - 2 in the afternoon. I arrived at 12.50. So it should have been open. the store had closed early for lunch and didnt let me in. Personally I think this is weird as its a pharmacy not a homeware store or something and when I googled their opening hours it didnt say that they closed for an hour. Luckily Asda across the road has a pharmacy but I couldve saved myself the time and just gone there if Id known.
