Asked for help with cour as wanted to return back to natural tone. In October, a lady took three strands of hair to test. I was told id receive a picture with the result. Nithing received for 3 weeks. I sent a direct message on FB. Limp apology followed by picture of 2 strands if voloured hair. I asked when I could pop in and discuss. Again, no reply. This went on for another 4 weeks. I then sent another message saying I would pop in to collect strands. Msg received saying they had thrown them away!!! Was upset by this. Was told to go in and they would take more. Declined this and said I would go elsewhere as was starting to feel like a nuisance. No reply. No sorry. No attempt to repair the letdown of customer service. Said I would take my customer elsewhere. They didn't care. After over 10 years of going to the salon this was really upsetting. Francescos congleton were amazing. Did exactly what I asked for and were really attentive. Service: Hairstyling

I've been coming to the Hanley Salon for 17 years. Before I came here I had several bad experiences that left me in tears. Now I have Dianne who can deal with my curly hair professionally. The salon is exceptionally clean and tidy and very well organised. All of the staff are absolutely lovely and very welcoming and the atmosphere is a relaxing one. Most of the products used are John Belfield's own and they are available to buy at the salon and they all smell so so nice. I have total confidence with my hairdresser as she's chatty and very friendly and knows what she's doing. When a salon has lasted as long as John Belfield's you know you're on to a winner for style and confidence.

I saw Amy today and I'm absolutely over the moon with my hair. She guided me with the type of highlights I should go for and gave me amazing shiny sleek hair. So happy to find a forever hairstylist. Everyone in the salon was so warm and welcoming. Totally unpretentious like some of the salons that take themselves to seriously and charge an arm and a leg. Highly recommend this place.
