Love this place! Bought beautiful Beef Short Ribs, 4 thick Slices of Chuck Steak, Chicken Legs, Lamb Shoulder, 3 thick gorgeous Slices of Blade & packs of Bacon - happily spend more but my fridge/freezer is too small! What a great Butcher & the Ladies are so welcoming!Love it! Loooove it!

3 generations of my family have been coming here for meat & poultry ever since they first opened (& Jeff was a young boy!) The team are polite, friendly, lively & extremely helpful. I don't buy supermarket meat - not when I know that The Cookery can fulfill the majority of my meat requirements (incl. stuff that's not available in any supermarket)! If anyone wants to know the best place to buy meat, head to The Cookery on Stokey High St!
