Tigre Tacos

Really disappointed after looking forward to this trip. I asked if it was possible to have some beans with any of the dishes, having noticed the absence of beans on the entire menu. The waitress told me they didn't do beans because they were " a vegetarian, pescatarian restaurant in the Southern Californian style". I nearly got round to asking what this had to do with not having any beans, which are vegan, and also commonly found in mexican food in southern California... but she had already walked away. I decided not to eat, but enjoy a fabulous cocktail instead. My partner did eat, but describe the flavours as weird, and agreed that lack of beans, sour cream tasted like Mexican with something missing. Mexican sin beans, are a sin.

The fish taco was really nice. The prawn taco was a bit on the tough side. But overall, quite flavourful.

Finally an amazing Taco restaurant in Stoke Newington! Thoroughly enjoyed my meal here last night. We had a variety of tacos, tostadas, guac and chips and quesadillas, as well as the churros to finish and enjoyed each and every last bite. Love the fact that it's centered around being fish/vegetarian. Each dish is fresh and packed with flavour and the drinks were also great too - we had palomas which tasted incredible. Staff are really lovely and clearly have a passion for what they create here. Highly recommend! :)
