We decided on Abney after talking to several companies, they (Daniel initially and Nonja) were thoughtful, understanding, practical and up front with everything I asked and several things I hadn't thought to ask. The funeral was arranged from outside the country which came with it's own challenges and Abney assisted in so many different ways - their level of service and compassion went above and beyond. It should also be noted that Abneys physical prescence on the day was stand out , their pall bearers were beyond dapper. My aunt would have approved! I really can't reccomend Abney highly enough - they made things easy at a tough time and for that I will always be grateful.

I called to make an enquiry about a recently passed family member, and the gentleman on the phone was extremely unprofessional and arrogant. Without knowing who I am or what beliefs I have, he said the way I was speaking was undignified. From my point of view, it seemed as though he put his personal beliefs over mine which is just outrageous. Not something I would expect from a funeral director. The phone call left me in tears. There was no respect or regard for my feelings whatsoever. I definitely will not be using these funeral directors and would not recommend to anyone.
