        The grounds and the building are spectacular from the outside. The inside is grand in areas but in need of loving care in other areas, reception was long and a bit winded. Staff at reception were friendly. The cleaners that came to our room to change bedding because I have a feather allergy, They seemed very blunt and didn't seem to like the fact they had to change the bedding! The standard room we booked was dated and very dusty in places where they thought people wouldn't look. We showed the pictures to staff which was shocked and thankfully they were happy to refund part payment as it was not acceptable for the price we paid for a very standard room with a very dated bathroom suite and moldy poor tiling in the bathroom with a very first generation LCD Tv in the room didn't use the hotel facilities decided to explore the local nearby food places and shops :-) ..
