Inconsiderate driving. Last Friday, I was driving up Bootham Terrace while three of your large lorries had turned off Bootham. Despite there being enough room for the three lorries to pull to their left and so have another foot or so between my wing mirror and them, not one of them did so. All three drivers simply continued to drive down. There were other vehicles behind me and there were parked cars to my left, so I was unable to pull over, although I did my best.

On 26.01.2018 at 9.30-ish, traffic was reasonable whilst it was damp, drizzly with lingering mist; motorists' average speed was 40mph-ish. I started to turn and join the left lane, there were no vehicles behind that would have prevented me from safely joining the left lane. I then noted a van which had the business name, chippindale plant on it who had deliberately accelerated (whilst towing a portable generator!) so preventing me from safely joining the left lane. Had I continued in my attempt to do so, I would have bumped into the chippindale plant van, so had to re-join the right lane to avoid such an impact. On 29.01.2018 at 15:12 I sent an email to chippindales complaints email address I posed a question in context, are your drivers usually so silly-odic and inconsiderate bearing in mind the incident, weather, and actions of chippindale plants driver. On 29.01.2018 at 15:51, I received the operations director replied; he FAILED to: (i) acknowledge my complaint or (ii) advise that an investigation would follow. On 30.01.2018 at 12:27, I emailed the operations director and received his reply of 30.01.2018 at 14:02 and is deliberately obtuse. On 12.02.2018, at 11.55am, I was driving along Fawcett Street, York, which turns right into a sharp bend; on its left is a junction by MECCA Bingo, York. I was literally on the bend, when a chippindale transit van left the junction, deliberately pulling out into the path of my vehicle! It was my right of way, for I was in an established driving manoeuvre, applied the brakes sharply and lurched forward in the car although manged to stop. As the chippindale plant van deliberately emerged from the junction, the registration plate was clearly visible; it is on the drivers lower side above the tailgate and able to memorise the registration plate. It was only later that I realised it was the same vehicle as the first incident on 29.01.2018 when driving to Selby. On 29.01.2018, I was only able to read the last four digits of the registration plate due to the portable generator being on the vans hitch so the first three letters of the registration were obstructed from my view. It is fortunate that, on the second occasion, the chippindale plant driver did not have a portable generator on its hitch, for I would have clipped it. Again, I was shocked by what the chippindale driver had done; deliberately leaving a junction when it was: (i) my right of way for I was in an established road position on the bend (ii) due to (i), I had priority to traffic waiting at the junction wanting to join Fishergate/Fawcett Street (iii) unsafe to do so On 13.02.2018 at 10:01 I emailed chippindales complaints email; the operations director replied on 13.02.2018 at 11:33 in which he was quite mistaken On 15.02.2018 at 13:06 I emailed the operations director posing three questions: the second sentence of the second question being Does chippindale plant have a large van with this registration? On 15.02.2018 at 14:01 I received a reply from the operations director who FAILED to reply to my three questions. The emails received from the operations director bear resemblance to what is known as psychological projection. A persons ego state shall defend itself against unconscious qualities as it denies their existence within that person yet the ego state will attribute them to others. So, a person who is rude might accuse others of being so. Psychological projection being blame shifting from one to another. The response, tone and content of the operations directors emails are offensive, rude, and most extremely unprofessional. Having explained these two incidents with others and the emails from the operations director, I successfully discouraged a business from engaging chippindale plant The language used by chippindale plants reply of 02.10 from Dan is unprofessional; "hiya"! Dan alleges that chippindale plant had checked their "vehicle tracking and our in-truck CCTV and unfortunately no evidence came to light" ... mmm, how convenient!
